It’s one thing we all feared: China is taking over, and it’s for two days only at The Bamboo Bar. Paul Hsu and Victor Sachdev of Shenzhen’s Obsidian Bar, Michael Chen and Zach Qiao of Shanghai’s Speak Low, and Tommy Wong and Jony Yang of Changsha’s CMYK will be guest bartending with live jazz in the air. They’ll all be offering their own creations, and talking to you through their process as you order.

Awaraa “The Nomadic Bartender” of The Nomad Lab and Sparrow Restaurant & Bar guest shift at The Loft Bangkok
6 February, 8-11pm
From the steppes of Mongolia, to Bangkok, Awaraa “The Nomadic Bartender” is the mind behind the first-ever cocktail lab in Mongolia, The Nomad Lab, and dining destination Sparrow Restaurant & Bar. He’ll be taking over the bar at the sky-high The Loft Bangkok for one night only, serving up smiles along with his signature cocktails.

Paulo Laihee Naranjo of The St. Regis Bar Jakarta guest shift at The St. Regis Bar Bangkok
7-8 February, 7-11pm
Ranked No. 88 on Asia’s 50 Best Bars 2024, The St. Regis Bar Jakarta provides nothing but warm hospitality to the people that walk through their doors. Representing the bar is Bar and Beverage Manager Paulo Laihee Naranjo, who will be taking over The St. Regis Bar Bangkok for two nights only, serving up classic twists that will have you leave with a smile.

Chef Ivan Brehm of Nouri and Chef Tam four-hand dinner at Baan Tepa
8-9 February
Chef Ivan Brehm, helming Singapore’s Michelin-starred Nouri and the interdisciplinary space Appetite, celebrates the interconnectedness of cultures and history through food. His philosophy is that no food culture exists in isolation. For two evenings, he’ll be showing Bangkok how he puts his philosophy onto plates, as he joins hands with Chef Tam at Baan Tepa.

Rabbit Hole’s 9th anniversary with guest bartenders and DJs
8 February, 8pm onwards
Rabbit Hole never shies away from a party, and it’s going to be a huge one for their 9th anniversary. Guest bartenders Dodo of Revolucion Cocktail Bkk and Shallum, Código 1530 Brand Ambassador, will be shaking up a storm behind the bar. DJs are lined up to have you on your feet all night. Plus, from 8-9pm and 1-2am, drinks are free-flow. Pop by and wish them a happy birthday.

Bangkok Design Week 2025
8-23 February
Bangkok Design Week is a huge event held yearly to showcase how talented the artists of Bangkok can be. The theme for this year is “Design Up+Rising,” turning negative energy into a positive one through an uprising. This year, the event will take place across eight districts of Bangkok, with a total of 479 programmes. We also have a quick guide you can browse.

Vintage art craft market at Charoen43 Art and Eatery
8-9 February, 11am-6pm
Charoen43 Art and Eatery is organising a vintage art and crafts market, with so many things to bring home, including vintage clothing, handmade jewellery, art pieces, retro vinyls, and more. It’s the perfect chance to support local suppliers, and aid in sustainability efforts. This event will also take place again on 15-16 February.

‘IGNIV Party’ with bites from the kitchen and cocktails from guest bartenders
9 February, 8pm-midnight
IGNIV Bangkok is organising a laidback gathering, complete with bites from the IGNIV team, as well as cocktail offerings from Tropic City, Teens of Thailand, Iron Balls – The Parlour, and The St. Regis Bar Jakarta. These award-winning bars, along with a DJ playing live behind the station, will keep the vibes lively until midnight.

Small Dinner Club’s third anniversary collaboration dinner
10 February, 5.30pm and 8.30pm
To celebrate its third anniversary, Small Dinner Club (SDC) is hosting an exclusive one-night-only collaboration dinner featuring Thai cuisine that will be “pulled apart, questioned, and reimagined” in exciting new ways. The dream team of chefs include Chef Sittikorn from Akkee, Chef Davide from Côte by Mauro Colagreco, Chef James Tseng and Tom Liu from Wok by O’Bond, Taipei, along with their very own Sareen Rojanametin. Each chef will present their unique interpretation of Thai flavours in a limited 12-course tasting menu available for just 22 guests.

‘The Taste of Ari’ bar-hopping session at four bars in Ari
Until 28 February
With all the bars clumped in Sukhumvit and Chinatown area, perhaps it’s time you explore all the cocktail experiences bars in Ari have to offer. Throughout this month, THB 990 will have you travelling to four bars to try one cocktail per venue. Those cocktails are a part of their Valentine’s special menu only available for the duration of the event. Participating bars include #OBSESSION, The Key Room No. 72, Brut, and The Grey Area.

‘It’s All in the Stars’ afternoon tea at Rosewood Bangkok
5 February – 4 May
