St. Patrick’s Day events in Bangkok to check out for a pint or ten

Practice your drinking songs, for St. Patrick’s Day is on the horizon. Here’s where to be in Bangkok for a good craic.

Though an official Christian feast day, it is most known for its ties to the Irish culture. After all, St. Patrick’s Day marks the arrival of St. Patrick in Ireland and was historically celebrated by lifting alcohol restrictions. These days, people don’t slow down on the drinking tradition one bit, and St. Patrick’s Day is also known culturally as a day where people wear green, put up shamrock symbols, and celebrate Irish culture.

As our city is such a cosmopolitan place, we know just where to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day in Bangkok this 17 March 2024.
