K-Pop sensation Jennie Ruby Jane joins Chanel’s latest watch campaign

From being the face of COCO CRUSH since 2022, Jennie Ruby Jane is now another muse in Chanel’s Première Édition Originale campaign.

Chanel’s foray into watchmaking began in 1987 with the introduction of the Première under the creative direction of Jacques Helleu. When this incredible timepiece was first launched, the Première captivated global audiences, drawing inspiration from the brand’s iconic elements: fashion and beauty.

The Première, designed in an octagonal shape, was inspired by the iconic N°5 perfume bottle stopper. Adorned with sleek black lacquer and inspired by the interlaced leather straps and chain of the quilted bag, this innovative design fascinated the watchmaking world. The timepiece basically emerged as a heroine in its own right, leaving a lasting impression on aficionados and enthusiasts alike, especially unveiling in an era dominated by male watches.

A timeless timepiece that will never go out of style, Chanel introduces another muse to their Première Édition Originale 2024 campaign this year. Joining House Ambassador Lily-Rose Depp, the Maison welcomes Jennie Ruby Jane, also known as Jennie Kim from Blackpink, to grace the campaign. Directed by Inez & Vinoodh, the super chic campaign features Jennie in Paris, lounging in a hotel room with the stunning watch. Elegant, soft, yet boldly captivating, Jennie proves to be the perfect choice as Chanel’s muse. And honestly, we can’t wait to see what other future collaborations the brand will have with this it-girl.
