LV x Takashi Murakami RE-EDITION 2025
To celebrate the 20th anniversary of their era-defining collaboration, Louis Vuitton has teamed up once again with Japanese contemporary artist Takashi Murakami for the Re-Edition 2025 collection. One of our absolute favourites has to be the pochettes. Compared to the 2003 versions, the 2025 version updates the design even more, featuring more meticulous detailing on the hardware. The Nano Speedy also received an upgrade with a cute bow motif on the clochette. PAÑPURI x Wonderfruit
One of the workshops we enjoyed the most at the recent Wonderfruit festival was a collaboration with PAÑPURI, led by Wonderfruit’s Lifestyle and Wellness Director, Chalisa ‘Nee’ Viravan. Titled ‘Journey to the Peak,’ this workshop invited Wonderers on an introspective journey to explore their deepest thoughts.
Drawing inspiration from PAÑPURI’s latest fragrance collection, ‘Journey to the Peak,’ the session contained mindfulness and sound activities to create a serene space where the mind, body, and soul could unite. This session was further elevated with the three scents within the new collection—Cedrus Ascent, Cloudwalker, and Ambara Nectar. Balenciaga’s new Le City campaign
Balenciaga has recently dropped a fresh campaign for their iconic Le City bags, and we are so here for it. The second Le City instalment brings back the bag we all know and love but with some subtle updates. Captured through the lens of Mario Sorrenti and featuring legends like Nicole Kidman and Kate Moss, the campaign breathes new life into this Y2K staple with a range of sizes, colours, and finishes. For example, the bag Nicole Kidman wears is crafted from Arena leather and uses Palladium Vibrato hardware, all while keeping Le City’s signature details like the metal buckles, leather zipper pulls, and braided handles. – T.C., Content Writer
Mufasa: The Lion King
After a long wait Mufasa: The Lion King has finally hit the cinemas. This live-action prequel dives into Mufasa’s story before he became the King of Pride Rock, showing us his rise to kingship and giving us a glimpse into why Scar is so obsessed with the throne. For us, the production is much better this time as if Disney wanted to make up for the first live-action The Lion King. The animals’ expressions are more realistic, which adds to the experience. The casting was good as usual since the voice, acting, and music were incredible, even if the storyline didn’t feel so logical. – P.T., Senior Writer
