American tech giant Apple went into a deeper data dive to compile multiple lists by genre, artists and albums based on worldwide streaming counts for its yearly roundup, Apple Music Replay 2024.
The highly-anticipated music streaming data dropped on 3 December, ahead of the other, perhaps much more awaited, famous yearly roundup, Spotify Wrapped. According to Apple, Replay is localised in 39 languages for the 169 countries where Apple Music is available.

Kendrick Lamar, who was involved in a rap civil war earlier in 2024 with Drake, emerged as the most favourite pick of listeners on Apple Music.

Users can share their personalised list of music listening preferences and check if they were among an artist’s top 100, 500 or 1,000 listeners globally. Previously, this feature was limited to 100 only.
Users can also see the longest number of consecutive days in 2024 that they used Apple Music. There is an animated highlight reel option, which is perfect for those living in the age of social media.
Data on everything, from total listening time to top artists and favourite genres to most-played tracks, is available for users to access.
Apple has also launched an exclusive Replay for artists to help them gain information such as which city has the highest numbers of their listeners and which of their songs was most searched via Shazam.
How to get Apple Music Replay 2024
The year-end music info can be accessed directly via the mobile app by iPhone users with iOS 18.1 or later using the Apple Music Replay button.
However, others will still need to go to replay.music.apple.com on either mobile or desktop.
