Phuket is hosting the EDC Festival this year from January 17-19.
EDC, the famed American-born electronic music festival, will take over Phuket’s Boat Avenue Lakefront from January 17 to 19, further cementing Thailand – and its southern island jewel – as a premier destination for global music and lifestyle events.
Electric Daisy Carnival, or “EDC”, the world-renowned electronic dance music festival organised by American promoter and distributor Insomnia is coming to Thailand for the very first time, marking a thrilling milestone for fans of the event and musical style. Taking place at Boat Avenue Lakefront in Phuket from January 17 to 19, EDC Thailand promises more than just beats and bass. The event combines the island’s famous tropical setting with the EDC’s signature energy, creating a unique cultural experience for those who share a common passion for nightlife and club music.

As a highly anticipated calendar event for both domestic and international attendees, the stages at EDC Thailand 2025 are set to redefine audiovisual excellence. Expect cutting-edge lighting, lasers, and pyrotechnics from the legendary kineticFIELD stage. Here, festival-goers will truly feel the pulse of the music in a dynamic and immersive atmosphere, surrounded by vibrant visuals and powerful soundscapes.
Beyond this main stage, attendees can explore three additional performance zones: circuitGROUNDS, stereoBLOOM, and boomBOX artCAR. The first is geared towards bass and techno fans, while stereoBLOOM is a hub for fresh, genre-defying beats and rising stars. Lastly, boomBOX artCAR presents a roving stage that combines artistry with sound, delivering surprises around every corner.

In terms of musical acts to be expected, Friday’s headliners include the likes of Afrojack, Aly$hia, Angus, Ayrton L, and Beltran. Meanwhile, acts such as Ahadadream, AK Sports, Baggi, Billy Gillies, Skrillex, 22Bullets x Marvinz1r, Alignment, AMÉMÉ, The Chainsmokers, and many more are lined up for the rest of the weekend.
Not just a music festival, this edition of EDC also offers enchanting art installations, mesmerising circus performances, and other interactive spaces to engage the senses. Guests can further unleash their creativity at the EDC KANDI bracelet DIY station, get pampered at the beauty bar, and immerse themselves in a vibrant carnival atmosphere.
