Word on the entertainment street is that K-pop group aespa’s leader Karina is in a relationship with Impossible Heir actor Lee Jae Wook. Both their respective agencies have backed the news — as pictures from a fashion show the two had attended in Milan last month went viral. Here’s all about them.
On 14 January, singer and rapper Karina — who also happens to be the leader of the four-member girl group aespa — crossed paths with Alchemy Of Souls and Extraordinary You actor Lee Jae Wook. The occasion? Prada’s fashion show in Milan. Fans noted heartwarming interactions — from the latter offering the former a seat at his table to the two being all smiles around each other. Naturally, dating rumours sparked, only to be confirmed most recently by a news report published on 27 February by Dispatch. The South Korean media outlet was also responsible for breaking the news on BLACKPINK’s Jisoo and Korean actor Ahn Bo-hyun.

According to the report, the early 2024 European work affair marked the beginning of the relationship for the two. “The two are now getting to know each other. The actor is filming and as it is his private life, we ask you to treat him with warm eyes and respect,” Lee Jae Wook’s agency C-JeS Studio was quoted saying by Hindustan Times. SM Entertainment followed suit with, “Karina and Lee Jae Wook are getting to know each other.” Not much else has been revealed about the two as of yet.

Soompi added that the two often meet in the actor’s neighbourhood and have been spotted taking a walk late at night as well. Aespa last made headlines for their comeback with Drama and Karina is set to embark on her second world tour with them Synk: Parallel: Line in June. Meanwhile Lee Jae Wook has been in the news for his performances in The Impossible Heir and Hong Rang. In the past, he’s been linked to his Alchemy Of Souls’ co-star Go Yoon Jung.
