The very teaser trailer for The Fantastic Four: First Steps is finally here and it’s, ahem, fantastic. Here’s the week in geek.

There are plenty of things that happened this week in the world of geek that we can celebrate. Luke Skywalker is finally making his Galaxy’s Edge debut, the Mobile Suit Gundam live-action movie is in full production, and we finally got the very first teaser trailer for The Fantastic Four: First Steps. But not everything was fine and dandy after the PlayStation Network went offline for almost 24 hours.

Take-Two Interactive says GTA VI is still on track for this year, Luke Skywalker is coming to Galaxy’s Edge, we got our first look at One Piece Season 2, and The Fantastic Four: First Steps  teaser has been revealed. Here’s what you may have missed this week in geek.

Console gamers suffered a dry spell of almost a day when the PlayStation Network went down for unknown reasons. Players were unable login or play online. That also meant that games bought digitally were inaccessible. Though the reason why the outage occurred remains a mystery, PlayStation has added five free days to everyone subscribed to PS Plus as compensation. Even Krispy Kreme helped alleviate gamer woes with free doughnuts. It wasn’t as bad as the outage of 2011 but gamers are upset at PlayStation’s lack of communication.

The first teaser for The Fantastic Four: First Steps dropped

We finally got our first proper look at Marvel’s First Family in action. The teaser trailer for The Fantastic Four: First Steps shows off the retro-futuristic setting of the movie as well as the powers of three of the four members of the superhero team. We also got a glimpse of John Malkovich’s mysterious villain and Galactus looming over Liberty Island.

Luke Skywalker is coming to Galaxy’s Edge

It’s been a long time coming but he’s finally on his way: Luke Skywalker will officially be a character roaming around Galaxy’s Edge. Visitors will be able to do a meet-and-greet like they’ve done with other beloved Star Wars characters like Chewie, Rey, and BB-8. More details are set to be revealed this week.

Well, it seems like we will be getting Grand Theft Auto VI in 2025, at least according to Take-Two. In an earnings report, the parent company of Rockstar Games listed the long, long-awaited game as still on track for a fall release this year which is the same release date announced previously. However, that doesn’t mean a delay won’t happen.

It’s been six years since it was announced that a live-action movie adaptation of the beloved anime Mobile Suit Gundam was in the works. But it was only this past week that it finally went into full production. Jim Mickle, who served as creator and showrunner of the Netflix series Sweet Tooth, will be writing and directing the movie which is set to be released in theatres globally.

We got our first look at the Straw Hat Pirates in One Piece Season 2

The Straw Hat Pirates are back! Netflix dropped our very first look at Iñaki Godoy, Emily Rudd, Taz Skylar, Jacob Romero Gibson, and Mackenyu back in action as Luffy, Nami, Sanji, and Usopp. The second season of the manga adaptation is set to be released late this year.
