From Queen of Tears to Wonderful World, these are the best new K-dramas all Korean drama fans should watch this March 2024.

Following the record-breaking popularity of K-dramas like A Killer Paradox in February 2024, K-town is all set to entertain you with their upcoming line-up of new k-dramas releasing in the following month of March. From the romance drama Queen of Tears to the thriller Wonderful World, these Korean dramas will keep you glued to your screens this March 2024.

Leading the list is Netflix’s ‘must-watch rom-com of the year’ Queen of Tears, starring Kim Soo-hyun. The show also stars leading Korean actress Kim Ji-won, who is popular for her critically acclaimed performances in Arthdal Chronicles (2019) and My Liberation Notes (2022). Written by the same writer who did Crash Landing on You, Queen of Tears is one of the most-awaited upcoming K-dramas releasing in March 2024.

Meanwhile, portraying a mother’s unconditional love for her son is the Yi Seung-young directorial Wonderful World. One of the best new thriller K-dramas releasing in March 2024, the Disney+ original is penned by Kim Jieun, who is famous for the 2020 hit series Lie After Lie.

According to an official statement by the streaming giant, Wonderful World will tell the hard-hitting story of desperate mother Eun Soo-hyun (played by Kim Nam-joo), “who will go to extraordinary lengths to exact revenge for the death of her son.” The show also stars K-pop group ASTRO’s member Cha Eun-woo in the lead role.

Not to forget the supernatural romance series Midnight Photo Studio, which marks K-drama heartthrob Joo Won’s return to the silver screen after nearly a year. The series is helmed by The Beauty Inside fame director Song Hyun-wook and will see Joo Won portray the role of a photographer inheriting a ghastly studio.
