Together, they navigate the harsh landscape and tackle dangers to find the water source.

Along with the upcoming series, an open-world Sand Land video game is scheduled for release on 25 April. The game will allow players to traverse the desert wastelands in the shoes of the demonic hero Beelzebub. It will be available to users on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC.

According to the series’ official website, “In a desert world where both demons and humans suffer from an extreme water shortage, Beelzebub, the prince of demons and Rao, a small-town sheriff, form a tag team and set off on an adventure in search of the Legendary Spring somewhere in the desert.”

According to Crunchyroll, the anime series will be split into two arcs — the Prince of Demons arc and the Angelic Heroes arc. The first arc will feature the first six episodes, which will integrate scenes from the anime movie. These scenes have been carefully reworked into an episodic format and enhanced with additional footage. This arc is set to deliver an immersive experience for viewers, offering an expanded narrative beyond the original story.

Episodes seven through 13 are part of the Angelic Heroes arc. Taking place in the setting of Forest Land, a creation of Toriyama himself, this arc guarantees exciting and novel adventures for Beelzebub and his companions as they face new challenges.
