The first ever Korean unscripted series to be renewed for season 4 on Netflix, Single’s Inferno focuses on a group of singles searching for love on a deserted island called Inferno. The only way to escape the unfavourable island is to find the right match for a romantic night in Paradise — a luxurious island where the contestants can enjoy fun dates.
In the finale of season 4, viewers saw four couples successfully leaving Inferno — Sian and Junseo; Dongho and Arin; Tae-hwan and Jiyeon; and Jong-hoon and Hye-jin. Meanwhile, the contestants who failed to leave Inferno were Theo, You-jin, Minseol, Jeongsu and Hae-lin.

While there’s no official confirmation about a new season, on 5 February 2025, K-media outlet Koreaboo reported that, according to industry insiders, JTBC Studios (the production company of the dating reality show) has already begun casting for season 5.
Meanwhile, multiple sources also believe that Netflix has started preparing for season 5. Media outlet allkpop shared that the OTT giant has already fast-tracked production for season 5 due to the show’s continued success.
What could be the release date for Single’s Inferno season 5?
As there has been no official announcement about the renewal of Single’s Inferno for season 5, we currently do not have a release date for it.
However, Netflix announced season 4 on 17 December 2024 and it eventually premiered on the streaming platform on 4 January 2025.
If Netflix follows the same pattern, it’s possible that season 5 could be released in the first quarter of 2026.
