Love Scout ending explained: What happens to CEO Kang Ji-yun after she resigns from Peoplez?

In the finale episode, Peoplez gets entangled in an investment fraud. Following this, CEO Kang Ji-yun resigns and rival company Career Way takes over Peoplez.

Over the next few days, Ji-yun enjoys her time off with her boyfriend Yoo Eun-ho and his daughter Byeol.

Elsewhere, Hye-jin is arrested for investment fraud and scheming against Peoplez. After this, the corporate world and the general public regain their trust in Ji-yun.

Towards the end of the finale, Ji-yun makes a big career move by starting a new headhunting organisation with teammates from her former company. Eun-ho’s daughter names her company ‘We’, which represents the bond of love, respect and trust between Ji-yun and her team.

Does Eun-ho’s career take a new turn?

Yes, it does.

After resigning from Peoplez along with Ji-yun, Eun-ho decides to stand by the former in all her decisions. When Eun-ho eventually learns about Ji-yun’s new company, he looks forward to continuing being her secretary once again. However, Ji-yun, who values Eun-ho and his potential, urges him to go back to his true role of being a Human Resources (HR) manager.

A reluctant Eun-ho goes back home to think it through and finally realises that being in the HR department is what he genuinely enjoys. Soon, he gets an offer to go back to his previous company Hansu Electronics. But when Ji-yun makes him her first client and finds a suitable position for him in the prestigious Selim Group, Eun-ho rejects Hansu’s offer.

The romantic K-drama ends with Eun-ho and Ji-yun attending a meeting at Selim Group, this time as clients and consultants respectively. As the meeting ends, Eun-ho leaves a “See you later” note for Eun-ji along with an envelope containing a ticket for the Jaemin Shin piano recital.
