From trying out the latest workout classes to checking out the hottest new cafés in town, the LSA Good Life Guide is all about doing something new.

In this episode of the Good Life Guide, our host Lisa Gries takes you to Sugar Ray, You’ve Just Been Poisoned, one of Bangkok’s favourite speakeasies located in the heart of Sukhumvit 24, to talk about a special campaign they’re a part of launched by Roku Gin, the premium Japanese craft gin from the House of Suntory, titled ‘A Celebration of Summertime Bliss’.

Running from today until 15 September Sugar Ray, You’ve Just Been Poisoned is one of the six bars participating in the campaign along with Sugar Ray Apartment, Firefly Bar, 008 Bar, Bar Scofflaws, and Wallflowers Cafe, in which they will all have their very own special cocktail menus crafted with Roku Gin.

For this special occasion, we’re going to be talking with Sugar Ray’s bar manager, Khun Tor Vipop, to let him show us what it’s all about. We were in for a very exclusive luck too, as we got Khun Tor to mix the special drinks as part of the campaign for us: the Roku Tonic, Classic Roku Martini, and the special Roku Sakura Fizz.
