Cocktail Time EP1: “Palm-Supawit” making the Negroni inspired by Seiko Presage

Now, within this collection is an outstanding series called ‘Cocktail Time.’ The collection, dedicated to capturing the spirit, character, colours, flavours, and recipes of the various alcoholic drinks, was inspired by the infamous Ginza, Tokyo Skybar and the Japanese cocktail culture. In this series, the cocktail-inspired timepieces comprise a unique design that unveils their captivating elements. From its sleek and lightweight frame, like a refined cocktail glass, to the dial playing with the light, the ‘Cocktail Time’ series is here to invite everyone to celebrate the sophistication of Japanese craftsmanship along with cocktail-making artistry.

This year, for the Diageo World Class Thailand 2024, a cocktail-making competition, Seiko has joined as the event’s main sponsor showcasing their Seiko Presage Cocktail Time series and collaborating with various mixologists in this fun-filled cocktail show-off.

One renowned mixologist is Palm-Supawit Muttarattana, co-founder of Dry Wave Cocktail Studio and founder of Liquid Color Beverage Consulting. For this special event, Palm arrives wearing the Negroni watch. This timepiece comes with a deep orange-brown dial, inspired by the hue of the Negroni, a cocktail made with gin, vermouth and Campari, garnished with orange peel.
