Blackpink’s Lisa is joining the cast of ‘The White Lotus’ Season 3

The HBO show ramps up its star power. Blackpink and Thailand’s very own Lisa is joining the cast of The White Lotus Season 3.

The latest season of the HBO hit show The White Lotus already has a stacked cast featuring names like Jason Isaac, Michelle Monaghan, and Walter Goggins. Thai actors Dom Hetrakul and Lek Patravadi have also joined the starry ensemble. But just when we think the cast has finally been rounded out, HBO made a surprise announcement today revealing that a Thai global superstar is joining the show: Blackpink’s very own Lisa.

Lisa joins the cast of The White Lotus Season 3

The White Lotus Season 3 is set to commence filming around Koh Samui, Phuket, and Bangkok this month. Like the previous seasons, the show will once again feature a new set of guests and staff and their shenanigans at a new White Lotus property. HBO has partnered with the Tourism Authority of Thailand to support the filming of this third season. 

Details on the plot and the characters are being kept well under wraps. That means we don’t know who each of the cast is playing, let alone newcomer Lisa. It’s not the first time that a Blackpink member has featured on an HBO show. Last year, Jennie had a somewhat substantial role on that controversial Sam Levinson-run “show”. The question now is whether Lisa will also have a somewhat big role like hers.

This is also the first time that Lisa is officially being represented by her recently established management company, LLOUD. 

The White Lotus Season 3 is set to begin filming this month here in Thailand and will likely premiere sometime in 2025. Meanwhile, you can stream the first two seasons on HBO GO.
