Celine Telepathic Love Print Small Trifold Wallet
Is it a pair of red lips? Is it an eye? Is it an eye inside a pair of red lips? I don’t know, and I don’t really care, but I do know that I am kind of trippy for this telepathic love motif from Celine’s latest collection. A collaboration between the French fashion brand and American artist Anneli Sanaye Henriksson, the new line features a wide range of products from backpacks to small leather goods, shoes, and ready-to-wear pieces. This small trifold wallet (THB 22,500) is a cute entryway to the collection; small enough to pack all my essentials, yet bold enough to make a statement. One of the Fall 2019 collections I’m most looking forward to is the one from Chloe. The brand used to be known for their feminine, country, slightly vintage aesthetic. Now with their new creative director, Natacha Ramsay-Levi, we can expect some more modern urban looks. After getting a sneak peek at their new collection to be launched in Bangkok next month, I truly confirm that there are some great street style pieces. I’ve already got my eyes set on this pair of low-top sneakers (THB 24,900). The materials are a mix of suede calfskin and more modern industrial materials. After a very cool preview event at Ma Maison this week (there was an MCM Patricia Leather Block ice cream cart et al), I’ve got a new crush. Everyone: meet the Patricia Satchel in Visetos Leather Block (THB 37,900). There is something so sweet about this satchel; it has something lightly nostalgic about it, and I love the low-key dorkiness of its strict handle and collegiate kind of shape. Preppy in a fun way, the self-defined ‘new school luxury brand’ nails it once again. And as our dedicated drinks writer, I am also totally obsessing over the fact that the shade is called ‘white and cognac’. Naturally. — LG
Arcona Cranberry Toner
Is it a lotion? Is it a lava lamp? I wasn’t entirely sure when I first caught a glimpse of Arcona’s cranberry toner — a three-in-one cranberry milk cleanser, toner, and moisturiser (THB 1440). It’s chocked full of protective antioxidants and natural beneficial ingredients (hence the appearance of separation when you don’t shake it). These ingredients include antimicrobial cranberry, phyto-nutrients, and essential fatty acids — a.k.a magical skin foods. I love a good versatile beauty product, and since this “toner” can also remove make-up effectively, neutralise free radicals, and infuse all kinds of omegas into your skin, this was a no-brainer pick for me.
