Nichi Nichi sake dinner at Nusara

15 May, 6pm onwards

Brewed carefully with Kyoto soft water with quality sake rice varieties sourced all over Japan, Nichi Nichi’s sake can be enjoyed on any occasion. Why not do it as you dine gorgeous food by the famous Chef Ton with a view of Wat Pho on the opposite side of the street? The owner and brewmaster of Nichi Nichi’s distillery will also be coming in to answer any questions you may have.

Spring has sprung, and many times an omakase is the best way to experience the season. Savour the freshness in each bite, and feel the stress slip away tasting rare fish sourced from Japan.

Appia brunch take over at Larder

17-18 May

Upgrade your brekkie game this week as Chef Paolo Vitaletti and the talented Appia team are stepping into Larder’s kitchen for very special menus exclusive for this event. Have some pea and guanciale bruschetta with poached egg and nduja, perhaps a handful glazed baby carrots with wild honey, or maybe a broccoli rabe sausage to-go for the office? Have them with some Winegarage wines selected by Ottara Pyne — no one at the meeting will notice if you put it in a coffee mug.

“From Disco to Disco” disco party at W Lounge

18 May, 7pm onwards

W Lounge is being transformed into a disco inferno for one night only, as “From Disco to Disco” party is back. Boogie oogie oogie and feel the night fever as you shake your groove thing to DJs Ruggero Fiore, About Time, Roberto Lazzaro, along with Magic Mayuri Duo strutting and performing the house down. The ticket already includes a complimentary drink, so pick up some bubbly and feel the love hangover.

Nymphia Wind live at The Stranger Bar

18 May, 9pm onwards

Winner, winner, chicken dinner — the crowned queen of RuPaul’s Drag Race season 16 is coming for a special performance in Bangkok for the first time ever. Joining her are Tina and Bagel from the Haus of Wind, as well as a roster of queens from Bangkok. The VIP tickets are already sold out, but be sure to snag a ticket to see the doll up in person.

Fortune teller pop-up at Madi Bkk

18-19 May, 2-6pm

Day drinking has never felt so blessed. Artist and fortune teller Sai Pattaraporn is coming to Madi Bkk for a special pop-up one afternoon only. One booking is entitled to 40 minutes of fortune telling — reservations required. A portion of the proceeds go directly towards the Home for Handicapped Animals Foundation.

Hamlet Block Party at Asai Sathorn

18-19 May, 11am-midnight

It’s the one-year anniversary of Asai Sathorn, and they’re celebrating with the return of the big Hamlet Block Party. Joining them is a roster of Sathorn’s local favourites: Mod Kaew Wine Bar, Café des Stagiaires, Kai New Zealand, XII Mediterranean, Giglio Trattoria, and many more. Get ready for drinks, food, live performances, and even a special photo walk with a renowned photographer.

DogFest 2024 at Hair of the Dog Phrom Phong

18 May, 5pm onwards

DogFest is back for all the craft beer lovers of Bangkok. Tickets, available in limited capacity, entitle to you unlimited access of 35 craft beers from all over the world, a special commemorative glass, and a community of like-minded enthusiasts. If you’re feeling peckish, there will be food options from Breakfast Story for purchase.
