Louis Vuitton is opening a Le Chocolat Maxime Frédéric in Singapore

The luxury brand is set to open Le Chocolat Maxime Frédéric at the Louis Vuitton store in Singapore.

Louis Vuitton is set to launch Le Chocolat Maxime Frédéric at Louis Vuitton in Singapore, a dedicated chocolate store in its boutique that will sell creations by award-winning French pastry chef, Maxime Frederic.

Part of Louis Vuitton’s Marina Bay Sands location, the shop in Singapore will offer an assortment of chocolates inspired by the luxury brand’s iconic monogram. The opening date has yet to be announced.

Frederic first partnered with Louis Vuitton on an exhibition in 2022. He is also behind the Maxime Frederic at the Le Chocolat Maxime Frédéric at Louis Vuitton in Paris’ Cheval Blanc. Singapore is the store’s first outlet outside of France.

At the upscale Paris hotel Cheval Blanc, Frederic is known for using ingredients sourced from his homeland of Normandy. In 2022, he was recognised with the prestigious Gault & Millau Guide’s Pastry Chef of the Year award.

For Louis Vuitton, Maxime Frédéric chocolates range from the simple to the wildly intricate, including a chocolate rendition of the brand’s Vivienne doll perched on a Louis Vuitton trunk, which turns with a key.

Many of these French pastries can be found at the Maxime Frederic at Louis Vuitton Café and Chocolaterie in Paris, which also serves savoury lunch dishes that sport the iconic monogram.

Additionally, Louis Vuitton worked with Frederic and famed chef Arnaud Donckele to open a seasonal restaurant in Saint Tropez.

In Singapore, consumers can purchase Frederic’s chocolates made with premium ingredients, including hazelnuts grown from his farm in Normandy.

Frederic joins a growing list of chefs that luxury labels have tapped as ambassadors. Gucci collaborated with Italian chef Massimo Bottura on a series of Italian restaurants around the world, and watch brand Jaeger-Lecoultre partnered with celebrity pastry chef Nina Metayer on an exclusive pastry collection.
