In the United States, National Ice Cream Month is celebrated each year in July. So, the folks at Guss Damn Good are bringing the creamy joy of celebration to Bangkok in their own uniquely Thai way.

Guss Damn Good is turning their ice cream shop into a grocery store for a limited time
As perhaps their biggest project yet, beloved ice cream brand Guss Damn Good is turning their centralwOrld flagship store into a grocery store from 29 June to 31 August, 2024. They’re filling the grocery store with Guss Damn Good’s newest collaborations with nine brands that most Thai people will be familiar with.
The new collabs and their flavours include:
- BarBQPlaza – BarBQPlaza’s barbecue sauce with honey molasses
- Mama Noodles – Lime sorbet with noodle crumble
- Takabb – Herbal lozenges with lotus root and rock sugar
- Golden Mountain – Soy sauce with custard brittle
- Roza – Tomato sauce with strawberries
- S. Khonkaen – Pork floss with coconut sugar
- Mae Pranom – Chili paste with salted egg and condensed milk
- Arsenal Cookies – Arsenal cookies with malted chocolate
- Jolly Bears – Lots of Jolly Bears
If you’ve ever taken a shower and took a hot minute wondering how Mae Pranom’s chili paste or the pork floss you can get from 7-Eleven would feel like in an ice cream, this is a unique opportunity for that very unique fantasy. Nevertheless, this is not the first time Guss Damn Good does inventive flavours, for their fans can still remember the pot-stewed goose flavour they did a while back.
Where to find Guss Damn Good’s Thai grocery-inspired ice creams
Besides centralwOrld, the limited edition flavours can be found in other branches until 31 August, too. They are also available via delivery apps such as Grab, Shopee, Lazada, and the Guss Damn Good official Line account. Although these flavours can be found throughout the duration of the event, they are still subject to availability.
