Midsommar Feast with two Nordic Chefs
25 June at Sra Bua by Kiin Kiin, 27 June at Villa Frantzén
Midsommar is upon us. The Nordic celebration is known for big bonfires, warm family gatherings, and, of course, delicious food. Chefs Nilas Corneliussen from Villa Frantzén and Henrik Yde-Andersen from Sra Bua by Kiin Kiin are joining hands to create a dinner you won’t soon forget, with highlights including the National Danish rødgrød, white asparagus with tom kha slush, grilled lamb with pomme anna, and more.

Chef Lee Man Sing at Mott32 Bangkok
26-29 June
A celebrated icon of Chinese cuisine, Chef Lee Man Sing blends eastern and western cooking techniques to produce immaculate dishes. He’ll be in the kitchen at Mott32 for a limited time, presenting his expertise available as both a la carte and set menu. Highlights include crispy bird’s nest topped with Oscietra caviar, hot and sour soup with King Prawn, and stuffed crab claw.

Six-hand taco dinner at La Lupita Bangkok
26 June, 6pm-midnight
Three chefs, one amazing concept: tacos. For one day only, Chef Beto of La Lupita will be joined by Chef Abel of Chullchick, Hong Kong, and Chef Neto of Tequila Coyotes, Shenzhen. Highlights include fresh Peruvian ceviche, juicy beef taco arrachera style, and tostada topped with kicking shrimp al Ajillo. Be sure to grab some margaritas for the table.

Maybe Sammy team guest shift at Firefly Bar
26 June, 8pm onwards
Maybe Sammy? Definitely Sammy. Manuel Belotti, Hunter Gregory, and Vincenzo Sidari are coming to take over the bar at Firefly for one night only. Sydney’s Maybe Sammy recently took the top spot on 2023’s Top 500 Bars list and has been on everybody’s lips since they opened. Come see their lively hospitality and treat yourself to a drink or three.

Sandesh Sabba of Sidecar guest shift at Havana Social
26 June, 9pm-midnight
Sidecar is a special establishment in New Delhi. They put sustainability at the forefront, all while deploying the “whatever you say” concept, creating bespoke cocktails based on the guests’ preferences. Sandesh Sabba of Sidecar will be displaying some of the array of ingredients they use, as well as the passion and care they put into each drink as he stands behind the bar at Havana Social for one night only.

Jack Ng of ARGO guest shift at Crimson Room
27 June, 8pm onwards
Live jazz goes amazingly well with a set of good drinks and warm hospitality. Guest bartender Jack Ng will provide at least two of those for the evening as he stands behind the bar at Crimson Room. He’ll be serving some of the menus offered at ARGO, Four Seasons Hong Kong. Reservations are recommended.

Toshiro’s Bar team gust shift at 008 Bar
27-29 June, 6pm onwards
From Japan to Bangkok, the award-winning Toshiro’s Bar is a beloved establishment in the Niseko area. As they’re undergoing some temporary renovations, they’re bringing the whole team to take over 008 for three whole days. The team is known for their use of whiskies, as well as the unmatched classic cocktails. Reserve a table and taste the magic.

Chef Abel Ortiz Alvarez of Chullchick kitchen takeover at Vertigo TOO
28-29 June, 5pm-1am
As you’re enjoying the gorgeous view of the city and some live music at Vertigo TOO, upgrade the experience with some Peruvian flavours as Chef Abel Ortiz Alvarez takes over the kitchen for two days. Highlights include his signature Pollo a la Brasa, Peruvian ceviche, and grilled octopus. Everything is cooked and spiced to perfection.

Riccardo Rossi of Freni e Frezioni and Mario la Pietra of Neon Pigeon guest shift at Lennon’s
28 June, 8pm onwards
When multiple Italians are under one roof, you know it’s going to be a good time. Please give a warm Bangkok welcome to Riccardo Rossi, co-owner of Freni e Frezioni in Rome, and Mario la Pietra, beverage director of Singapore’s Neon Pigeon. These award-winning bartenders will be bringing their signature creations, as well as lively hospitality, to go with Lennon’s vibes.

Made by Legacy Flea Market is finally back at Pat Arena in Khlong Toey. If you haven’t been, they practically have everything — vintage finds, handcrafted goods, fashionable garments, imported furniture, classic vinyls — and we’d be here all day if we were to list them all. KAEN kitchen takeover at Siwilai City Club
1-2 July, 7pm onwards
With two years in a row achieving the Michelin Plate, Khon Kaen’s KAEN is known for their contemporary takes on Isaan flavours. Chef-owner Paisarn and Chef Jibb will be taking over Siwilai City Club’s kitchen, presenting nine courses of Thai dishes that do not compromise on spice. Optional wine pairing is available, and reservations are strongly recommended.
