Amanda Wan Winchester and Danny Choo of Three X Co guest shift at Bar Us

2 July, 9pm-late

Kuala Lumpur’s Three X Co is all about serious cocktails with a lively, welcoming atmosphere. It’s how they’re a familiar name within Asia’s 50 Best. Please welcome the award-winning Head Bartender Amanda Wan Winchester and Senior Bartender Danny Choo as they show off their magic behind the bar at Bar Us for one night only.

Lobster Tuesday at Pastel Bangkok

2 July, 5pm-1am

Sometimes work becomes a bit much, and you’re already feeling over the week when Tuesday comes around. Vikas Kumar of Pass Code Only guest shift at Iron Balls – The Parlour

3 July, 9pm-midnight

Pass Code Only holds the title of being India’s first speakeasy, and a destination for those who visit New Delhi. Bar Manager Vikas Kumar will be bringing his warm hospitality, along with Pistola, India’s first aged 100% agave spirit, to Bangkok for the first time ever. Reserve your seats in advance, because it’s going to be a wild night.

Kazuhisa Matsuo and Yujiro Kiyosaki of Bar Libre guest shift at Aqua Bar

4 July, 7-11pm

“Libre” translates to “freedom,” and that is the crux of how the drinks are made at Bar Libre. They combine Japanese style with contemporary techniques. Feel the best of both worlds as Kazuhisa Matsuo and Yujiro Kiyosaki serve up their inventive creations at the lush-green Aqua Bar. Reservations recommended.

El Sabor de Kimpton Brunch: World Chocolate Day special at Stock.Room

7 July, 12-3pm

World Chocolate Day is celebrated on 7 July, and there’s nowhere better to treat yourself than at the El Sabor de Kimpton Brunch. They’re collaborating with Thai chocolatier Tempered for some special treats perfect for the occasion, including bon bons filled with Patron tequila, and chili caramel chocolate ice cream. Be sure to catch F*nkytown’s Head Bartender John Villanueva for a special guest shift.

‘Ojo Turns Two’ party at Ojo Bangkok

5 July, 8pm-midnight

The sky-high Mexican dining destination Ojo turns two years old this week, and they’ve invited a star-studded cast of chefs from all over the city to celebrate. Apart from Ojo’s own Chef Paco, Chef Franck of Iode, Chef Joe of Samlor, Chef Paolo of Appia, and Chef Jai of Charm Krung will be in the house making tacos — available in an all-you-can-eat deal.

 Sake Week Thailand 2024 at Queen Sirikit National Convention Center

6-7 July, 10am-8pm

It’s the first-ever sake event of this calibre, with over 40 types of sakes to be seen and tasted. Joining the event are award-winning restaurants of the Kingdom to promote the liquor, as well as give you a full experience to Thailand’s F&B scene. While you’re there, observe a Sato competition with judges from both Thailand and Japan.

Villa Frantzén x KHAAN exchange dinner

8 July, 5.30pm onwards

Chef Nilas of Villa Frantzén and Chef Aom of KHAAN have swapped their usual ingredients for one night, and the result is a tasting course guests won’t forget anytime soon. Taste six courses of Nordic and Thai cuisines by two chefs, all while letting both blend into one harmony. Highlights include grilled striploin with pomme anna, and charcoaled venison served with rhubarb som tam.

‘AB Steak’ limited-time menus at Akira Back Bangkok

The contemporary Asian restaurant Akira Back is bringing the American steakhouse spirit into the mix as they offer fun fusion dishes that will impress any guests. Highlights include their signature pizza, now served with wagyu slices, “tteok & cheese,” a spin on the classic mac & cheese, as well as the prime rib steak, served with black pepper sauce, chimichurri, and kizami wasabi.

A celebration of “Five Senses” with Tsu Japanese Restaurant’s 20th anniversary

Until 30 November, lunch and dinner

Tsu Japanese Restaurant is two decades old, and they’re celebrating it big for five months long. Japanese Head Chef Atsushi Yoshida is presenting a different experience each month for five months straight, each highlighting a different sense. July for sight, August for smell, September for hearing, October for taste, and November for touch. Using premium ingredients cooked to perfection, you’ll have an excuse to go back to Tsu again and again.
