Yi-Che Liao of Moonrock guest shift at Vesper

9 July, 8pm-midnight

Tainan’s bar Moonrock blends classic techniques done right, with gastronomic inspirations that make the bar a destination worthy of your bucket list. For one night only, Owner and Head Bartender Yi-Che Liao will be standing behind Vesper for one night only, and bringing his warm hospitality along.

Hiroyasu Ogura of The Hisaka guest shift at Firefly Bar

11 July, 8pm onwards

Craft cocktail maestro Hiroyasu Ogura is the mind behind Tokyo’s gin speakeasy The Hisaka. For many gin lovers, there’s nobody they’d trust more, and the experience The Hisaka provides is not like any other. Hiroyasu will be taking over the bar at Firefly for one night only, stirring and shaking up a storm for the people of Bangkok.

Australian wagyu beef and black truffles limited-time menus at Riva del Fiume Ristorante

12-28 July, with special dinner on 12-14 July

Australian wagyu beef and black truffles make a classic combo we just cannot resist. For a limited time only, Riva del Fiume Ristorante joins hands with Mayura Station and Truffle Hill for their top-quality produce, cooked to perfection by Executive Chef Andrea Accordi. Join them on 12-14 July for a special dinner with Scott de Bruin, founder and visionary behind Mayura Station.

Chef Matt Abergel of Yakido (by Yardbird Hong Kong) kitchen takeover at Siwilai Radical Club

12-13 July, 5pm onwards

Yardbird Hong Kong is serious about their chicken skewers — so serious that they got a Michelin star out of it. Chef Matt Abergel is taking over the kitchen at Siwilai Radical Club for two days, offering his immaculate yakitori creations and showcasing his approach towards Japanese cuisine. Pop by after 9pm for snacks, or 5-9pm for the full experience: a seven-course tasting menu.

INDDEE X Mibrasa fire-focused collaboration dinner

13 July, 5.30pm onwards

Dining at restaurant INDDEE normally means you’ll be taken on a trip through India, but for one night only, they’re throwing some Spanish notes into the mix. With the theme of ‘Journey Through Fire’, they are collaborating with Mibrasa, maker of quality grills, as well as their resident chef Ismael Caballero González. Highlights include the Iberian pork butt with roasted apple slow-cooked in the ash collector, as well as INDDEE’s new sol kadhi oyster vol.2.

“Fète De La Bastille À Bangkok” celebration at Bistrot De La Mer

13-14 July, available for both lunch and dinner

In celebration of le 14 juillet, Bistrot De La Mer’s Chef de Cuisine Slawomir Kowalik has come up with scrumptious French classic dishes for those who crave the authentic taste. Start the meal with some fine de claire oysters, and perhaps the bouillabaisse to share. The beef cheek bourguignon simply cannot disappoint, either. End with some crepe suzette, and it will be a meal to remember.

Taste your way through their curated selections all while having a talk about what made those selections so special. The panel includes Belle from Blue, Nan from Inddee, Soraya from Le Normandie, Eye from No Bar Wine Bar, Eik from Okura Prestige, Pheung from Potong, Alison from Cheong Somm, Bew from Aspect Wines, Holly from Central, as well as Sabine and Iris from Park Hyatt, joined by Granmonte.
