JJ Lim of Le Chamber guest shift at The Loft

14 August, 8-11pm

Bar industry beloved Le Chamber is always the name on everyone’s lips whenever they’re in Seoul. Let JJ Lim, their co-founder, demonstrate their hospitality as he stands behind the bar at The Loft for one night only. After all, the view from above the Waldorf Astoria Bangkok, coupled with a lot of tequila, sounds like a good time.

‘Cocktails & Cookies’ at Tony’s Bangkok

15 August, 7pm onwards

It’s the combo we never knew we needed. As you’re enjoying Italian-American classics at Tony’s, stay a while longer for some amazing cookies by Chef Jason Licker of Sugar Daddy, along with Emily Rodriguez making cocktails behind the bar. Guest DJs Satomi and Huskie are also coming in to make sure the vibes are on point for the whole night.

Indian Independence Day all-you-can-eat lunch at Tapori

15-18 August, 12.30-3.30pm

Tapori is celebrating India’s Independence Day by letting their guests embark on a journey throughout India in the form of an all-you-can-eat lunch served on a banana leaf. After all, much of the country’s rich cultural heritage can be experienced in their cuisine. Highlights include Sungta Ambat (prawns simmered in a curry), Lamb Kheema Ghotala, and so much more.

Fahbeer Sopajaree guest shift at Akara Sky Hanuman

15 August, 6pm onwards

As Akara Sky Hanuman is about to debut their new signature drink inspired by the Kingdom’s cultures, who would be a better ambassador than Fahbeer of Lost in Thaislation? The bartender helped Akara Sky Hanuman in their creation of the new drink, and for one night only, she’ll be serving them up along with her hospitality.

Aromkwan’s night stop at Ray Cocktail & Bite

15 August, 8-11pm

In collaboration with Jameson Black Barrel, Aromkwan and Ray Cocktail & Bite come together to introduce both food and drinks utilising the spirit. Chef Bank will be in the kitchen while Beverage Manager Pabun Bunragsatrakul shakes up a storm. Highlights include smoked garlic biryani, whisky-infused shoyu smoked goat ribs, biryani and yoghurt highball, and Bloody Mary with squid ink and olives.

Jay Gray of Idle Hands guest shift at Tropic City

16 August, 8pm onwards

One of the newest kid on the block in Singapore is the bar Idle Hands. To showcase what they do best is the founder Jay Gray, who will be taking over the bar at Tropic City for one night only. Get ready for a night of fun vibes, and a whole lot of rum.

Bangkok Gin Fest 2024

17-18 August, gin rooms, 1-7pm; guest shifts, 7pm onwards

Bangkok Gin Fest is back, baby. Brace yourselves for a lot of fun, lively vibes, and, of course, a lot of gin. Gin rooms are open at the ASAI hotel from 1-7pm, perfect for those who want to explore the world of botanical spirits. Guest shifts take place across the bars of Soi Nana in the evenings, featuring bar industry icons from across the continent. Chef Bharath and Chef Saurabh four-hand dinner at Nila Bangkok

17-18 August, 6.30-9.30pm

Two Indian Iron Chef winners get together for a night of soul-soothing Indian food. Chef Bharath of Nila Bangkok joins hands with Chef Saurabh of TAMBU, Phuket, to bring some classic flavours you know and love, but with a contemporary twist. Reservations strongly recommended.

‘Tiny Stage Session’ with Jass & Moss at Gigi Eatery Asoke

17 August, 6.30-9.30pm

As you’re savouring all your favourites at Gigi Eatery, musical duo Jass and Moss are coming in to make sure the vibes are on point. After all, is there anything more romantic than live music with your dinner date? They’re best known for their blues and country melody, so book those tables and treat yourself to some R&R.
