Chef Sanket and Chef Ian Kittichai collaboration dinner at Jharokha by Indus

27-28 August, dinner only

A Thai chef and an Indian chef coming together for one cohesive menu? It’s the best of both worlds, and it’s surely packed with the spices we love. This event marks the first time Chef Sanket, known for his charcoal and firepit cooking techniques, joins hands with Chef Ian Kittichai, Thai restauranteur, award-winning chef, and well-known TV personality. Reservations strongly recommended.

Chun and Jen of The Pi, and Arlene Wong and Dabi Chin of The Green Door, guest shift at The Bamboo Bar

28-29 August, 7.30-11.30pm

Two nights, two bars, four bartenders, great vibes only — Chun and Jen of The Pi, Ho Chi Minh City, along with Arlene Wong and Dabi Chin of The Green Door, Hong Kong, are taking over The Bamboo Bar for two evenings. They’re bringing the fun, they’re bringing their hospitality, and they’re bringing all the good drinks they’re known for.

Toshun Sake Brewery pairing at Kuma No Yakitori

28-29 August, lunch and dinner

Good sake brightens up any dark day, and a whole session of premium sake paired with mouthwatering yakitori simply cannot be missed. Chef Yoshinari Takagi of Kuma No Yakitori joins hands with Toshun Sake Brewery’s Sake Master Kazuma Ito to offer guests two days of chicken omakase with sake pairing — a perfect chance to learn more about the spirit all while enjoying good food.

“Fired Up Feast” at Kwann

28 August, 6pm onwards

Kwann restaurant is cranking up their grills to an eleven with their “Fired Up Feast” six-course tasting menu. Highlights include local crab prepared three ways, smoked local fish, grilled satay squid, a whole grilled baby lamb, and more. Guests are fully welcome to walk around, take photos, and watch the action unfold. There will also be a DJ and saxophonist to make sure the vibes are on point.

Laura Cabrera kitchen pop-up at Chenin

28-31 August, 6-10pm

Who’s up for some good Mexican food? Laura Cabrera started her culinary journey in the famed restaurant Noma, and then went on to explore her passions at establishments around the world. She’ll be highlighting her limited-time a la carte creations at Chenin for a special pop-up.

29 August, 7-11pm

F*nkytown has a beautiful bar and an open kitchen, so why not do takeovers for both at the same time? Award-winning bartender Palm Supawit of the equally award-winning Dry Wave Cocktail Studio teams up with Chef Diego Zarco of the upcoming Delia Mexican Eatery for a special event that will funk with all our hearts. A soul-soothing Mexican menu and seven limited-time cocktails — this is the good night Black Eyed Peas was singing about.

“Santo Slam” wrestling performance at El Santo

29 August, 8.30pm onwards

Get ready for a grand slam, for the Silva Brothers are coming to El Santo for a show. Dine on some good Mexican food, order some tequila shots for the table, and watch the brothers wrestle each other to the ground. They’re also teasing potential prizes for those who correctly bet on the winner, with DJ sets till late.

“Meat The Kitchen” meat omakase at The Meatchop

30-31 August, 7pm onwards

Chef Kong and the team are serving up a six-course meat omakase that will have you sent straight to meat heaven. Highlights include 45 days dry-aged AUS black Angus prime rib, and lamb T-bone — now that’s a lot of meat. This event is limited to just eight seats per day.

Pastry Chef Jason Licker pop-up at Jua

30-31 August, 6pm onwards

While you’re enjoying all the mouthwatering izakaya favourites at Jua, stay a while longer for Pastry Chef Jason Licker’s sweet treats as he does a pop-up for one day only. Highlights include Thai tea, ube, matcha, and strawberry cheesecakes — a fun little sample for his upcoming venue Sugar Daddy set to open very soon.

55 Wine Bar “Twisted & Comfort” pop-up at Mad Moa

31 August, 3pm onwards

Natural wine experience 55 Wine Bar makes a return with the “Twisted & Comfort” selection in collaboration with Mad Moa. Diners will get to explore five fun labels, including ones that are not available anywhere else in Bangkok, such as Domaine Recerca, Brand & Fils, L’Etranger and more. They are curated to be easy to drink, perfect for newcomers to wine, and go well with the dishes offered at Mad Moa.
