What to order at Butterbear Emsphere: 7 must-tries every Butterbear fan should get
Milk Cream Donuts (THB 95)
Baking is a science, and making doughnuts is all about balance. Butterbear’s cream doughnuts are fluffy light, with a generous portion of filling inside. There’s an array of fillings you can choose, but we recommend the vanilla because it feels classic, is fragrant, and not overly sweet. The doughnuts are lightly dusted with sugar powder, too.
Banana Pancake (THB 195)
Butterbear’s signature pancakes are made-to-order, served with maple syrup and a dollop of fresh cream. Although the original pancakes are to-die-for, the banana pancakes go well with the maple syrup and offer another layer of complexity. These are a bit on the pricier side when it comes to pancakes, but the ingredients are well-selected, and this dish is often one of the first items to sell out.
Butterfly Palmier Set (THB 550)
Butterfly cookies make the perfect gift for any occasion, even if the occasion is that you’re having it for yourself. True to the name, Butterbear makes their cookies absolutely fragrant of butter, which tastes amazing coupled with the very crunchy texture. Each box comes with 12 cookies, and with four flavours: chocolate, white chocolate, strawberry, and lemon.
Butter Palmier (THB 95)
Perfect for a quick bite, these crunchy palmier cookies feature the crunchy and decadent texture of your usual butterfly cookies, in a different shape and slightly larger in size. Choose between chocolate, strawberry, and lemon — all equally delicious. At first, we were concerned that with this size, there will be full bites without the chocolate, but the butter really pulls through and gives us everything we need.
Thai Milk Tea Slush (THB 149)
Yes, it’s quite pricey when it comes to a cup of Thai tea, but it’s packed to the brim with all the Butterbear goodness. The tea itself boasts just-right amount of sweetness. It’s then blended into a slushie, and topped with a dollop of fresh cream, some cookie crumble, and a piece of butter cookie, and served with some boba underneath.
Fresh Milk Cream Butterbuns (THB 125)
Great to share with some company, the butterbuns are a must-have signature creation. After all, there’s arguably no better way to showcase how good their butter is than to enjoy it in a very simple form. These feather-light buns are fluffy, buttery, and will make you consider going for seconds. The fresh cream on top enhances the texture without taking away the attention from the buns.
Four Cheese Bagel (THB 99)
Butterbear isn’t only for sweets, but also savoury goods, too. The prime example of that statement is the four cheese bagel, with — you guessed it — for cheeses in one bite. It’s a guilty pleasure that cheese lovers can’t resist. Other bagels to try include blueberry cream cheese, jalapenos, and truffles.
