Paul Hsu of Obsidian and Victor Yang of AHA Saloon guest shifts at The Bamboo Bar
25-26 January, 7.30-11.30pm
Seems like after the big series of guest shifts they had, The Bamboo Bar is not slowing down on connecting cocktail enthusiasts of Bangkok to international talents. Please give a warm welcome to Paul Hsu from Obsidian, Shenzhen, and Victor Yang of AHA Saloon, Taipei, for two nights of bar takeovers. They’ll be serving up a storm as you vibe to the live jazz the venue is acclaimed for.

Retox Sessions presents: Peggy Gou at Heart Mega Club
26 January, 8pm onwards
Retox Sessions is opening 2024 with a bang: a unique chance to get up close and personal to the groovy tunes of Peggy Gou. Located at Heart Mega Club, Emsphere, the superstar will be joined by local performers Arsit, Kingsize, and Ize. Note that the general tickets are already sold out (as expected), but you can still hopefully snag tickets at the door.

Toru Ariyoshi of Bee’s Knees guest shift at Midlife Crisis BKK
26 January, 8-11pm
No. 44 on Asia’s 50 Best Bars 2023 list, Bee’s Knees is beloved for their renditions of timeless classics from the 1920s. Toru Ariyoshi will be bringing four of his creations to the people of the city for one night only. If you missed his last guest shift, now’s your chance, but you already know that it’s a good time guaranteed when Japanese hospitality is in the building.

Cabin crew night at Lost & Found Bangkok
27 January, 7pm onwards
Please do not be alarmed, remain calm. Do not attempt to leave the dance floor. The resident queens of Lost & Found Bangkok will kick, flip, and fulfil the Toxic fantasy with their cabin crew-themed night that will drop hard. Doors open from 7pm onwards — reservations strongly recommended for the best seats in the house. Expect the oxygen masks to come down from overhead, because you will be gagging on their eleganza.

Italian truffle dinner at Rossini’s
27 January, 6.30-10.30pm
The black truffles are still very much in season, and it seems Rossini’s could still find some white truffles before they’re gone until September. Chef Giacomo Vinci will be overseeing the special dinner utilising the best truffles combined with authentic flavours of Italia. Get the beverage pairing for the full experience.

Martin Villareal of Gibson guest shift at 4th Wall
29 January, 8pm-midnight
For their first-ever guest shift, Martin Villareal of Gibson, Singapore, will be breaking the 4th wall for one night only. The Filipino-born was head bartender at Ritz Carlton Singapore, and is now bar operations manager as part of the legendary Jigger & Pony Group. Let him craft you some great cocktails, and show you the hospitality he’s famed for.

New “Kobayashi Dog” menus at Nantei Yakitori Bkk
Today onwards, 9pm-midnight
Nantei Yakitori presents a potential contender to being your favourite late night drunk food. The Kobayashi Dog is made using tsukune (flourless minced chicken) from Larder, toppings to your liking, and packed into a form of a hot dog. From the classic hot dog to the German-style hot dog with mustard and sauerkraut, feel free to have it at the restaurant or to go.
