Wheein of girl group Mamamoo just announced the first leg of her Asia tour, including a concert in Bangkok. Titled ‘Whee In the Mood’, the show in Bangkok is set for 6 April, with the venue to be confirmed.
She will kick off two nights of concert in February in Seoul. Then, she will perform in other cities in Asia such as Hong Kong, Manila, Taipei, and Tokyo. Keep reading to find out more details.
Mamamoo’s Wheein will make a stop in Bangkok for a concert
The upcoming tour marks Wheein’s first concert as a soloist in 10 years since debuting as a member of Mamamoo.
Tickets for the Seoul concerts had already sold out as soon as the sales started. While the singer has unveiled the dates and cities for her Asia tour, fans outside these cities can remain hopeful. According to the tour poster, more tours will be added later.

Who is Wheein of Mamamoo?
Jung Whee-in or simply Wheein is a member of the girl group, Mamamoo. They debuted in 2014 with the EP ‘Hello’ and single, ‘Mr. Ambiguous’. And in 2018, Wheein debuted as a solo artist with the track, ‘Easy’ which peaked at the number three spot in the music charts.
The following year, she released her first solo single album, ‘Soar’ with the song ‘Goodbye’. The album peaked at number four on the Gaon Album Charts with the song landing at the 24th spot on the Billboard World Digital Song Sales chart.
In 2021, Wheein followed up her solo career by releasing her EP ‘Redd’. A year later, she released her second EP ‘Whee’. It was her first release under her new label The L1ve after parting ways with RBW but remaining part of Mamamoo.
