Dry Wave Cocktail Studio’s one-year anniversary with four days of guest shifts

21-24 January, 7pm onwards

Dry Wave Cocktail Studio has been shaking things up, literally, in Thonglor for one year. This week marks their anniversary, and they’re celebrating it big. Four days, filled with a star-studded lineup of bartenders. On 21 January, there’s Shelley Tai, Colin Chia, and Alvin Ang from Nutmeg & Clove, Singapore. On 22 January, expect Kae Yin from Wu, Taiwan. On 23 January, check out Hideyuki Saito from Gold Bar at Edition Hotel, Japan. On 24 January, the guest shift series ends with Uno Jang from Jigger & Pony, Singapore.

Benjamin Cavagna of 1930 Cocktail Bar guest shift at The Bamboo Bar

22-23 January, 7.30-11.30pm

Benjamin Cavagna co-owns and bartends at Milan’s 1930 Cocktail Bar, with a secret address and invite-only access. Despite that nature, the bar finds itself crowded with industry friends and locals, and perched on No. 50 on World’s 50 Best Bars list. Benjamin will be standing behind The Bamboo Bar for two evenings, accompanied by sultry live jazz.

Chef Paolo Salvo of Bottega and Michele of Massilia four-hand dinner at Massilia Italian Restaurant

24 January, 6pm onwards

It’s a clash of the pizza titans. Chef Paolo Salvo of Bottega, renowned pizza restaurant in Shanghai and Beijing, joins hands with Chef Michele of Massilia, named best pizza in Thailand and the 7th best in Asia in 2024 according to 50 Top Pizza. Together, they’ll be presenting a dinner menu exclusive to that day.

Disco Diaries presents Marc Roberts at APT 101

24 January, 9pm onwards

Let the spirit of disco take over you as Disco Diaries come to APT 101 for one night. Dance the night away to Marc Roberts’ signature grooves, with DJ Dark White and Linus as supporting acts. Tickets at the door are discounted if you arrive before 10.30pm.

Made by Legacy Flea Market

24-26 January, 1-11pm

Made by Legacy Flea Market returns to Wharf 38. If you haven’t been, they practically have everything — vintage finds, handcrafted goods, fashionable garments, imported furniture, classic vinyls — and we’d be here all day if we were to list them all. If you’re interested in browsing through different items in flea market style, snag a ticket or two for a friend. The event is pet-friendly, and entry is free for children aged up to 13.

‘Cross Culture Weekend’ with Malaysian chefs and bartenders at Paii and Bar Sathorn

25-26 January, 6pm onwards

Cross Culture Weekend is back at The House on Sathorn, where they showcase talents of Southeast Asia. This weekend, Chefs Michelle Koh and Top Russell from Mia Bangkok will be serving up their creations at Paii, while Joel Poon of Reka Bar and Koh Yung Sen of Backdoor Bodega take over the bar on the 25th, as well as Jon Lee and Maria Escobia of Penrose, and Amanda Wan of Three X Co on the 26th.

Chef Andrew Martin of Fatboy Izakaya doing brunch at Ojo Bangkok

25 January, 11.30am-2.30pm

Fatboy Izakaya has guests come in and leave with big smiles every time. Chef Andrew Martin’s multicultural background and love for food have him experimenting with fun flavours and innovating dishes inspired by different cuisines. Let him show you a few of those creations as he takes over the brunch experience at Ojo, with highlights including the okonomiyaki eel taco and sake-roasted beef with jalapeno crab butter.

Rangoon Tea House pop-up at Chim Chim Bangkok’s backyard

25 January, 5-10pm

Everything is great with a side of rangoons. For one day, Chim Chim’s backyard will be filled with Yangon’s favourites, including braised duck noodles, steamed kaya toast, grilled mutton curry, and more. Expect backyard games, fun cocktails, and live music.

Louboutin Bar pop-up at Central Chidlom

Until 16 February, 10am-10pm

Complete with the Christian Louboutin’s signature red hue, the Louboutin Bar will pop up on the first floor of Central Chidlom for a limited time only. The cocktail menu is inspired by the French maison’s essence, which includes a twist on the Martini with lychee juice from the royal projects, a Pina Colada mocktail, and more.

‘Vive le Fromage’ limited-time cheesy menus in collaboration with Maison Mons

Until 28 February

Founded in 1964, Maison Mons has cemented themself in being a leading institution in cheese aging. Working closely with French artisans and farmers, their array of cheeses is a product of extensive knowledge, and perfect to elevate any meal of the day. Their collaboration with Scarlett Bangkok features special menus, with cheeses curated by cheese master Monica Antonicci. Highlights include fresh goat cheese and spinach ravioli in pistachio pistou sauce, as well as wagyu hanger with Soumaintrain cheese.
