Taste eight cocktails competing for the grand prize in the Pistola Duels competition

Until 27 September

Asia’s first premium 100% aged agave spirit from India, Maya Pistola, is currently looking to crown one winner from Thailand, and the voters are all of us. Until 27 September, bar sales go towards the final scores that will bring your favourite cocktails and their creators to the grand finale in Mumbai. Competitors include: Natkrit Chatsakpairach from Jhol, Gwandeer Sabunnga from Vertigo Too, Oscar Eksiam from Iron Balls – The Parlour, Supaktorn Ramrauy from 008 Bar, Jennifer Evans from Birdies BBK, Martín Guerra from INDDEE, Harsh Bhati from Avista Grande Phuket Karon, and Vivek Yadav from Bubbs.

Birdies x Jhol collab dinner at Jhol

17 September, 5.30pm onwards

Now this is a crossover episode we love to see. Fried chicken parlour Birdies is coming into coastal Indian dining spot Jhol for a special collaboration featuring favourites from both restaurants, paired with a selection of grapes from Soul Wines. They have good chicken, warm breads, and good vibes only.

Navjot Singh and Jairaj Singh Solanki of Lair guest shift at Stella Bangkok

17 September, 8pm-midnight

New Delhi’s Lair combines the precision and balance with unconventional ingredients, with a dash of sustainable methods. No. 68 on Asia’s 50 Best Bars 2024 list, they’re standing behind Stella Bangkok and shaking up a storm for one night only.

Akshit Sharma and Pankaj Balachandran of Boilermaker guest shift at The Pickwicks Chronicles

19 September, 9pm-midnight

Named after the hangover-inducing combo of beer and whisky, Boilermaker is set to open in Goa very, very soon. As a teaser abroad, Bar Manager Akshit Sharma and Founder Pankaj Balachandran are coming in to show them why it’s the next thing that will be on everyone’s lips as they take over the bar at The Pickwicks Chronicles for one night only.

Chef Christian Herrgesell and Chef Christian Martena four-hand dinner

20 September, 5pm onwards

With 20 years of experience under his belt, Chef Christian Herrgesell is the executive chef of Phulay Bay. He specialises in utilising French cooking techniques to go with contemporary Asian flavours — a perfect combination to see with Clara’s Chef Christian Martena and the flair he brings to Italian cuisine. It’s a one-evening-only experience.

Thai Cheese Tour wrap-up party at VIVIN Grocery Asok

20 September, 5pm onwards

VIVIN has been on a year-long cheese tour throughout the Kingdom, bringing the joy of savouring Thai cheeses to Chiang Mai, Hua Hin, Samui, and more. On 20 September, the tour comes to a close with a big party with all-you-can-eat aligot cheese, free welcome drink, and more than 25 Thai cheeses to try. Although this journey has come to an end, we can expect even more fun stuff from VIVIN in the near future.

Whether you’re living for the applause or ain’t got no tears left to cry, swing by Kilik Social Club for a good time as they pay tribute to pop icons Lady Gaga and Ariana Grande for one night. They’re promising live music, limited-time drinks, and even a drag show — we can think of a million reasons to bang bang into that room.

‘Coffee in Gallery’ exhibition and cafe pop-up at Galerie Monument

Until 29 September, 10am-5pm

Talk to anyone who appreciates a good coffee in the morning, and they’ll agree that coffee is an artform, and that the littlest details make big differences. Good coffee and paintings intersect at the ‘Coffee in Gallery’ event, where you enjoy a cup from their pop-up cafe as you enjoy the works of different artists all in one exhibition. They’re also pairing 16 different beans with 16 different artists if you’re craving for the full experience.

ALATi debuts new ‘Global Fusion’ menu with Executive Chef Philip Taylor

Available daily, 12pm-midnight

Executive Chef Philip Taylor at Siam Kempinski’s ALATi has come out with a new culinary experience for guests, in the form of an east-meets-west menu with inspirations drawn from the chef’s time in Melbourne, Shanghai, London, and more. Highlights include the Truffle Beef Tartare, Char Siu Wagyu, and Tikka-Style Jumbo Prawns.
