Recently, Lifestyle Asia was invited to the launch of Onitsuka Tiger’s newest collection Denivita. Taking its name from “Deni” (denim) and “Vita” (Italian for life), this Spring/Summer 2025 drop marks the Japanese brand’s move into the denim game, bringing vibrant colours and iconic designs to the mix. Expect wide-leg and straight-leg jeans, denim miniskirts, and even bucket hats, all made with Japanese denim. With shades ranging from indigo blue to Onitsuka Tiger’s signature bright yellow hue, this collection gives off rockstar energy, and yet is perfect for everyday wear. – Tipapa Chandarasrivongs, Content Writer
Nature has long inspired many jewellers at Place Vendôme in Paris, France, with creations that often feature elements like leaves, animals, and flowers. This year, the French luxury jeweller Boucheron embodies this concept by launching the “Untamed Nature” collection. Featuring 28 new pieces, this collection showcases nature in its most vibrant and realistic form all while reflecting the harmony between nature and the human body.
Now, this isn’t the first time Boucheron has drawn inspiration from nature; the brand has previously been inspired by the vines that entwine the arches of Palais-Royal, which is where they first opened their store in 1858. They are also captivated by the beauty of various plants and animals, including clovers, roses, thistles, butterflies, beetles, dragonflies, and more. – Pannatorn Tamnipanon, Senior Writer
IURI launches the Container 00 bag collection, designed by founder and Creative Director Jure Stropnik. This collection offers a stylish new take on shipping containers, transforming them from something raw and rugged into a luxurious must-have item. Handcrafted in Italy from high-quality cowskin, each bag features a gold finish top bar embellishment. The collection comes in various shades inspired by cities around the world and is available in shoulder bag and crossbody styles. – Aekkachai Angkulthivakorn, Managing Editor
Van Cleef & Arpels has released a high jewellery collection inspired by Robert Louis Stevenson’s classic novel Treasure Island. The story follows Jim, a young boy who embarks on a quest to find treasure while facing various challenges, including shipwrecks and pirates. The elements of this fantastical tale come to life in the collection, where the worlds of pirates, desert islands, treasure chests, mermaids, and mythical creatures turn into stunning jewellery.
The collection consists of three chapters, each with its playful twist. However, our favourite has to be Chapter II- Exploring the Island. We adored the Coquillage Mystérieux clip and the Palmeraie Merveilleuse necklace as you can see the level of craftsmanship is beyond exceptional, with each gem hand-set to perfection, making every piece feel like a true treasure waiting to be discovered. – T.C., Content Writer
Our favourite quiet luxury brand, Loewe, has introduced an upgraded version of their sneakers: the Ballet Runner 2.0. These shoes, blending performance and style, combine characteristics from the 70s running shoes with the ever-so-popular ballet flats. The design features an asymmetrical toe shape and a lightweight rubber outsole, with a genuine leather lining for added comfort. The stitching uses a technique called Sacchetto, which enhances the softness of the lining, providing this glove-like fit. Available in both nylon and calfskin, we have to admit that these new Loewe kicks are undeniably cool. – P.T., Senior Writer
Avant-garde Indian couturier Gaurav Gupta presents his Spring 2025 Couture collection, “Across The Flame,” a deeply personal tribute inspired by his wife, Navkirat Sodhi’s traumatic fire accident. Last year, Gupta missed Paris Fashion Week 2024 after a devastating fire tore through his Delhi atelier, destroying his studio and leaving his wife with 55% burns across her body with only a 50% chance of survival. From this darkness, Gupta creates a collection that is, in his words, “a testament to the strength found in vulnerability and the light that emerges from the darkest flames.”
Sodhi, embodying the essence of a fighter, survivor, and goddess, opens the show in an ivory-draped corset gown that reveals her scars. The collection unfolds like her healing journey: raw, powerful, and transformative. Throughout the show, you can see the usage of metals and drapery to reflect the power of fire along with palettes of black and deep purples to mirror her burns and bruises. Personally, this couture line is quite remarkable as it takes a traumatic situation and presents it in a different and beautiful light; symbolising a new kind of being— one that is reborn with strength and fearlessness. – T.C., Content Writer
The 2025 Grammy Awards have officially ended, and one of our all-time favourite looks on the red carpet was worn by Charlie XCX. Wearing a blue-grey tiered ruffled gown from the latest Jean Paul Gaultier collection, this look also featured a corset that accentuated her tiny waist. The brat icon also wore long black boots that complemented her dark hair perfectly. Her makeup was matte with eyes defined by a sharp eyeliner, giving her this emo-goth princess appearance. And besides performing her hits like “Von Dutch” and “Guess,” Charlie also took home three major awards for Best Dance Pop Recording (“Von Dutch”), Best Dance/Electronic Album, and Best Dance/Pop Recording. – P.T., Senior Writer
