Korean rapper B.I returns to Bangkok for his ‘Hype Up’ concert in June 2024

Korean solo artist B.I has declared that Thailand is included in his forthcoming 2024 ‘Hype Up’ tour. The tour’s Asia dates were announced on 30 March, with the tour set to begin in May across six cities in Asia, including Bangkok.

Korean singer and rapper B.I is making waves once again as he announces the Asian leg of his highly anticipated 2024 ‘Hype Up’ tour, with Malaysia confirmed as one of the key stops on his itinerary.

Over the weekend, B.I unveiled the first set of dates for his upcoming tour, which is set to kick off in May with performances across six Asian cities.

The tour will commence on 18 May in Seoul, followed by concerts in Hong Kong, Bangkok, Singapore, Manila, Jakarta, and culminating with a highly anticipated show in Kuala Lumpur in June. B.I will then wrap up his Asian tour with a final performance in Macau in July.

Kim Han-bin, better known as B.I, launched his solo career in 2021 after parting ways with YG Entertainment and the K-pop group IKON. Renowned for his distinctive husky vocals and infectious melodies, he has garnered a dedicated fanbase with hits such as BTBT, Illa Illa, and Keep Me Up. His latest studio album, ‘To Die For,’ released in June 2023, further solidified his position as a rising star in the music industry.

The tour is scheduled to begin in Seoul on 18 May, then move on to seven other Asian cities, including Hong Kong, Bangkok, Singapore, Manila, Jakarta, Kuala Lumpur, and Macau.

The rapper, aged 28, is set to perform at the Thunderdome in Bangkok on 1 June. Information regarding ticket prices and availability is yet to be disclosed.

18 May: Myunghwa Live Hall, Seoul

24 May: Star Hall, Hong Kong

1 June: Thunderdome, Bangkok

7 June: Capitol Theatre, Singapore

9 June: SM North EDSA Skydome, Manila

15 June: The Kasablanka Hall, Jakarta

30 June: Mega Star Arena, Kuala Lumpur

13 July: Broadway Macau, Macau
