Fight fire with fire — Bangkok’s intense heat wave calls for something even hotter. As Cinco de Mayo arrives, it’s a great opportunity to get out and savour a grand feast with drinks and tacos to boot. Heinz x The Standard Bangkok

It’s an extra saucy kind of celebration as The Standard, Bangkok Mahanakhon partners up with Heinz to bring you five new sandwiches with five mayo flavours. These sandwiches are available at their five dining venues: Mott 32, Ojo, Double Standard, The Parlor, and The Standard Grill. They’re really putting the “Mayo” in “Cinco de Mayo” and we’re living for it.

El Sabor de Kimpton Brunch x Cholos

Cholos is coming in hot to Stock.Room at Kimpton Maa-Lai Bangkok, serving their LA-Mexican dishes that charmed every visiting diner. The grilled elotes corn cobs are a good place to start, but their beef birria and Baja fish tacos are not to be missed at all costs. Grab some company and make this a brunch to remember.

Guilty Bangkok x La Lupita

Two South American dining destinations meet for a dinner to die for. Guilty is bringing their best from the kitchen, from the wagyu tartare to the Tuscan-style grilled salmon. La Lupita is also providing their unique flair, from the ever-beloved taco birria to their homemade egg nog. Dodoh Pattawee of Revolucion Cocktail will also be featuring his special cocktails.

Do free shots of Jose Cuervo sound like a fun time? Diners are entitled to exactly that with every booking, along with fun surprises on the menu by Chef Daniel Calderón Camacho. Live performers will be on standby for the vibes, and there’s also a piñata on 4 May.

Cholos Cinco de Mayo

Dining by Cholos’ food truck has always been a hearty, warm experience. Crank that up by ten as they’re celebrating Cinco de Mayo in the best way Bangkok and Mexico know how: with a lot of drinks. Free margaritas are handed out for the first 30 guests, and those in a festive costume get a free Corona beer. Tap your feet to the live DJs and enjoy the special Carne Asada.

Billy’s Smokehouse x La Monita x We Hungry x Santiaga block party

Who doesn’t love a block party every now and then? Special themed tacos by Chefs Billy and Mau will surely be the ones to watch, so expect a queue. Pair those with the famous La Monita Margaritas, as well as cocktails by guest bartender Dan Miranda previously of Paradise Lost and GulpBkk. Entertainment includes Big Calo on the mic, Bangkok Invaders behind the DJ booth, and Thaitanium rapping his greatest hits.
