Holiday Inn Kuala Lumpur Bangsar has finally opened its doors! Nestled within walking distance of the Bangsar LRT station and near popular spots such as APW and Mid Valley Megamall, the new establishment by IHG Hotels & Resorts is strategically located. Spanning 10 floors and comprising 220 rooms, the hotel has a lot to offer its guests. From the welcoming Open Lobby design concept where one can socialise and work to the carefully crafted F&B offerings at Pitstop and Clover Restaurant, there is something for everyone.

Rooms at Holiday Inn Kuala Lumpur Bangsar come equipped with premium bedding options, integrated charging stations and purified water dispensers. Looking to swim and exercise? There’s also an outdoor pool and a 24-hour fitness centre. On Level 6, those on the lookout for a massive space to hold events can check out the Grand Podium ballroom with a capacity of 600 people. Inside, you will find a large-format LED screen and advanced audio systems.

The lyf outpost in Penang’s George Town is the latest of the brand to open here in Malaysia. The lifestyle accommodation, helmed by The Ascott Limited, is as charming it is on the outside as it is inside. Colourful and playful designs take centre stage throughout the hotel space. The capital of Perak, previously known for its tin mining, is beloved for its scrumptious food offerings and charming architecture as well as its limestone caves, of course. The hotel, which opened on 18 January 2025, is an option for anyone looking to explore Ipoh.

Inside, AC Hotel by Marriott Ipoh houses facilities like AC Kitchen for all-day dining, Luk Yu Tea House for dim sum, recording studios at Studio 88 and signature cocktails at AC Lounge among others. The guestrooms at AC Hotel by Marriott Ipoh comprise options such as Prime Deluxe King and Premium Twin to Junior Suite and AC Suite. Sizes range from 26 square metres to 65 square metres.

The Très Hotel

There’s a new boutique hotel in Kuala Lumpur! The Très Hotel is a 86-room establishment located in Taman Seputeh. The neighbourhood spot, with its playful touches and vibrant characteristics, make it an ideal space to take refuge within the city. There’s also a really cinematic feel to the hotel’s decor — providing a backdrop for shoots and celebrations. On the ground floor of the hotel, you will also find a coffee bar, which also serves cocktails in the evening.

Guestrooms at The Très Hotel comprise the Moonrise Suite and Rushmore Suite (both at 40 square metres with a vintage vinyl player and ensuite open bathtub) as well as the Deluxe Room and Standard Room. Each room comes with dedicated amenities such as toiletries and room slippers. Situated near to Mid Valley Megamall, the hotel offers a shuttle to the shopping mall from its pickup point — operating every 30 minutes.

Situated on Jalan Sultan Ismail, the 312-room lifestyle hotel is near landmarks such as Pavilion Kuala Lumpur and Petronas Twin Towers. Described as an art and community-centred establishment, Hyatt Centric City Centre Kuala Lumpur is all about immersive experiences. Facilities throughout its 21 floors are created to reflect a fusion of modern comfort and local cultures.

The city’s tin-mining history is highlighted with the hotel’s design spearheaded by Silverfox Studios. The rooms have warm tones and bold lines while the hotel space combines industrial elements and pops of colours. Furthermore, Malaysian graffiti artist Jefr has also created custom art for the establishment. On the rooftop, there’s an open-air infinity saltwater pool with gorgeous views of the city. Situated at the heart of Melaka, this is the brand’s first ever outpost here in Malaysia. Comprising 146 rooms, the hotel is designed to reflect the heritage of the state; merging the past and present.
