Imagine sitting in a beautifully designed restaurant, where each bite transports you to different parts of the world—all while nestled in the heart of Bangkok. This is Gaggan at Louis Vuitton, the Maison’s first restaurant in South Asia, where the worlds of fashion, cuisine, travel, innovation, and timeless craftsmanship come together, brought to life by two visionary forces.
From the moment you step inside, you are greeted by Louis Vuitton’s signature designs. , Think Monogram flower lamps, sleek marble tables, and a pyramid of LV trunks that signal the start of your gastronomic adventure.
The essence of travel is deeply embedded in both Louis Vuitton, which began in Jura and expanded to Paris and beyond, and chef Gaggan Anand, whose mastery of Progressive Asian Fine Dining has catapulted him to the top of the global culinary scene. Expect familiar flavors, reimagined with Gaggan’s signature playful twist. Each dish is meticulously crafted to surprise and delight, embodying the two visionaries’ shared philosophy of pushing boundaries while remaining true to their origins.
The attention to detail extends beyond the food. Custom Japanese dishware, designed exclusively for the restaurant, enhances the visual and sensory experience, while the private dining room offers a more intimate look into the kitchen, making you feel like a part of the culinary magic. For the eleven-course lunch, diners get a glimpse of Gaggan’s cooking whereas the seventeen-course dinner showcases more of the chef’s inventive skills and heritage. For instance, The Lobster contained this marine animal from Surat Thani, which was perfectly paired with a Japanese carrot. Whereas the Bites of India was a fusion of familiar flavors. With each dish seasonally developed, all bites married perfectly with wines and cocktails and a presentations that will transport you from one flavor destination to the next.
The bites we loved: Dishes like Lick It Up feature LV’s iconic Monogram, inviting diners to engage with the food beyond tasting. Here, you literally lick your way through the experience. The World Map starter offers a bite-sized journey through India, Japan, and Thailand, while the bold Rice & Curry is a deeply personal Indian curry rooted in Gaggan’s family recipes.
