Keep it simple

Quite the style icon, Pat describes her style as “minimal and understated, with a slightly boyish twist.” Despite her big, bubbly personality, when it comes to her wardrobe, the talented and vivacious movie star prefers to keep things simple. “My style isn’t that feminine,” she admits with a laugh, “it’s not that I have an issue with the colours or anything, but for me, it’s more about the style and the design. I don’t like wearing things that are too over the top, and I avoid overdoing it with the layering — I prefer to respect the design of each piece in my outfit, and have each thing make its own statement.”

If anyone takes #ootd seriously, it’s Pat — and by that, we mean outfits as a whole. The style-savvy actress enjoys mixing and matching her clothes and accessories and gravitates towards things that are easy to pair. Which is why it comes as little surprise, that she’d have a fondness for her OMEGA Seamaster. “OMEGA is a brand I actually like. Sometimes when you look at a watch on its own, it looks great on the shelf, but for me, I prefer to look at how it fits with my entire outfit. This watch is like that — it’s minimal and has a boyish charm to it. It goes very well with all my different looks, for all occasions. It’s like a statement piece that I can use in my daily life.”

Good shoes take you to good places

… And on the ‘good shoes’ front, Pat definitely has quite a number of pairs to her name. When asked about her favourite labels, she’s quick to show her love for Bottega — especially during the days with Daniel Lee as the creative director. “I loved Daniel Lee’s work for Bottega so, so much. He was really the one who got me hooked again on the brand’s stuff. Before him, Bottega had this older vibe to it that made it difficult to understand. When Daniel Lee came on board, he changed this, but still kept the DNA of Bottega. The new designs had this young, chic edge to it — I love it so much.”

Small bags are a girl’s best friend

When it comes to bags, size matters for Pat. “I’m always getting small bags,” she laughs, “I keep telling myself that they’re too small, and that next time I should size up, but I always end up getting a small bag at the end.” While Bottega remains her number one, Pat is also rather fond of many of Chanel’s designs, and has a soft spot for France-based By Far. “There are some things from them that I really like. Individually, they might not catch your eye, but when you really use the designs, they’re really stylish and cool. There’s a charm to them.”

Your clothes should bring out who you are

Though her style is constantly evolving, lately Pat has been keeping a few local designers on her radar. “I really like Vickteerut, and recently I think Iradaa Wear’s new designs have also gotten a lot more interesting.” In her free time, you could probably find her shopping for new looks at Vanillin Studio, or Datt. As for what she likes about these brands, Pat enjoys how they bring out her individuality. “I like wearing clothes that bring out who I am,” she explains, “when I wear them, I can feel my persona reflected through them.”
