Though her style is anything but predictable, if she had to pick a staple item, Note would go for Thai fisherman pants. Known locally as gangaeng lae, these unisex, comfortable and unique designs hold a special place in her heart. “I can eat anything I want and they would still fit me,” she tells us jokingly, “they’re so comfy, and styling-wise they’re great, because you can pair them with anything. I just think they make you look really cool as well, and make great conversation-starters. When you wear them to other countries, people will be like, ‘woah, what are you wearing?’”

You can’t go wrong with tank tops
A big fan of local markets, eco-friendly labels and thrifting, Note admits to not having many favourite brands. “I don’t really use branded stuff, and I prefer to shop locally, or at eco-friendly stores such as Safe Studio and Siam Circle.” One of the rare brands Note does love, however, is Sasi Knits. “Before I knew who was actually behind the clothing, I just really liked the designs in general,” she tells us. “They’re very unique, really well-made, and just look so good. Whenever I wear the designs, I don’t need anything else to style them, they’re just so classic. I later found out the person behind the brand was my best friends’ sister, which I thought was amazing, and I’ve been supporting the brand ever since.”

Sneakers over stilettos
The epitome of effortless chic, Note always puts comfort first, describing her style as very casual and relaxed. “I would never wear anything that isn’t comfortable” she tells us with a laugh, “I don’t wear heels, I don’t wear super tight jeans. I’m not the type to go, ‘oh, it looks pretty so I’ll wear it even if it hurts me.” When it comes to shoes, she’s a sneaker-girl through and through. “I love a good pair of comfy sneakers, or boots with really thick soles, because they give me height. I’m very short, and I don’t want to wear heels, so I just wear thick-soled boots instead.”

Say no to leather
While not necessarily big on watches, Note does have a fondness for her current timepiece — a Longines 39 mm in Sunray Black. “It’s just so classic,” she explains, “and it’s the kind of accessory that can make you look really cool but also sophisticated at the same time.” Another highlight of this timepiece, of course, is its metal strap. “Even though these days, leather can be processed sustainably, I still think that if the demand for it is high, then of course there needs to be killing anyway. Nowadays, we’ve got the technology to make leather from cacti or other plants, so I feel like we should start taking that route, instead of using leather from animals.”

Jazz up your look with silver rings
An avid adventurer, a large part of Note’s style involves elements that suit her outgoing character. “I tend not to buy expensive jewellery because of my lifestyle. I’m very adventurous, and I can’t always make sure that I would be able to keep my diamonds safe, you know?” she jokes. Note does, however, still love her accessories, and is fond of layering different things to add a bit of personality into her look. “I love having silver rings on my fingers, I sometimes feel naked taking them off. I just like the feeling of them. I guess they help to ground me, somehow.”
