On the outside, it seems like the Galaxy Ring will feature a dark glossy finish to gel well with all kinds of attires. As with most Samsung wearable products, the Galaxy Ring could rely on the Samsung Galaxy Wearable app for getting firmware updates as well as fine-tuning several device settings. The Samsung Health app could be the second companion app for accessing all the health data and creating detailed reports with graphs and numbers.

Similar to most smart rings, it is easier to speculate that the Galaxy Ring will rely on its onboard sensors to keep track of your heart rate, blood oxygen saturation, skin temperature, steps, calories and stress. The teaser video from Samsung hints at a possible launch in the second Galaxy Unpacked event of 2024 around July/August, which is usually reserved for its foldable devices.
