How to delete Instagram highlights?

• Go to the Instagram app and visit your profile.
• Head to the Instagram highlights section located below your bio and profile picture.
• Find the highlight you wish to remove, then tap and hold onto it.
• In case you want to remove the entire highlight, select the ‘Delete Highlight’ option.
• But if you want to remove a specific story from the highlight, go to the respective video/ photo and tap the three dots for the “More” option in the bottom right-hand corner.
• Choose ‘Remove from Highlight’ to get rid of that one item. Confirm your action by tapping the ‘Remove’ button on the pop-up and it’s done.

How to edit Instagram highlights

• Go to your Instagram profile and select the highlight you wish to update.
• Select the three dots at the top right of the highlight you want to edit. Click ‘Edit’. In case you wish to change the name of the highlight, enter a new name in the text box. If not, click ‘Next’ to edit the highlight.
• You’ll be shown the list of stories that are a part of the highlight. Click on a story to unselect it and remove it from your highlight. Tap ‘Stories’ to see all your stories and select the items you wish to add to your highlight.
