How to unlink Instagram and Facebook (via Instagram app)?
- Open your Instagram account, go to your profile and then tap the menu in the top right corner.
- Tap ‘Settings’ and then go to the ‘Accounts Centre’.
- On the new page, tap linked Accounts and select your Facebook account.
- Tap the ‘Remove From Accounts Centre’ option against your Facebook profile.
- When the confirmation message appears, tap ‘Continue’. If both your accounts have the same passwords, you’ll be required to change one of the login credentials.
- That’s it. You have successfully unlinked your accounts.
How to unlink Instagram and Facebook (via Facebook app)
- Go to your Facebook profile and tap the ‘Settings’ option at the top-right corner.
- Tap ‘Accounts Centre’ and select ‘Accounts’.
- Select your Instagram profile and tap the ‘Remove’ option next to it.
- When the confirmation pop-up appears, tap ‘Continue’. Your accounts will now be unlinked.
